When Lord Godfrey Hastings invites his fellow lords to his ancestral castle to resolve a dispute over its inheritance, tempers flare. Unfortunately for them, the inheritance will go to the most well-behaved among them. When the taste tester suddenly dies from poison, a murder mystery unfolds.

Filled with an eclectic cast of medieval characters, the story brims with secrets, forbidden love, and questionable motives that lead the audience on a merry dance through the castle halls. Who is the guilty party? Is the plague truly spreading—or is it just a clever turn of phrase? And is a dragon the real culprit behind it all?
