Murder Aboard The HS Jungle Queen

10 Females, 12 Males, 8 Any Gender

(May be performed with 8 Females, 10 males, 4 Any Gender with actors playing multiple roles)

Deep in the heart of the Congo, danger awaits…and so does murder.

In 1933, the HS Jungle Queen sets sail on a perilous expedition to the fabled Cadavar Falls—led by a grizzled, retired naval captain with a haunted past and a map to something most believe is only legend: an ancient artifact of unimaginable power.

But the captain isn’t the only one with a hidden agenda.

Aboard the steamer is a cast of bizarre, brilliant, and treacherous passengers—each cloaked in secrets, each hungry for the prize. As the Jungle Queen winds its way through the mysterious river, tensions rise, alliances shift, and danger closes in from all sides. Cannibalistic castaways lurk in the jungle. Clumsy assassins stalk the decks. And somewhere among them… a murderer waits to strike.

Set against an exotic backdrop of superstition, betrayal, and ancient mystery, this wild ride is packed with razor-sharp wit, unexpected twists, and characters as unforgettable as the river is unforgiving.

The artifact may be priceless… but surviving the journey? That’s the real treasure.
